Nature of participation: My student exchange opportunity with the University of Nizwa in the Sultanate of Oman was equivalent to field training in my major. It included educational and scientific lectures, as well as a visit to the Muscat Stock Exchange.

Scientific and practical experience: We gained academic and practical experience through the intensive lectures we studied and applied. Through these lectures, we learned about the accounting standards used in each country, studied numerous case studies, and addressed specific problems in each case. We also learned about the financial market in the Sultanate. The most enjoyable and beneficial part was learning about the cultures of other Arab countries, the financial system used in each country, and the economic situation of each.

Other activities: In addition to the scientific aspect that we gained, there were recreational tourism activities that the University of Nizwa provided for us through which we learned about the Sultanate’s civilization, its beauty, and its states. These activities were full of useful and beautiful experiences.
