Field Training

Nature of participation: This was a broad-based student exchange program that contributed to the development of participating students in various academic fields, primarily because the program included several academic objectives in various disciplines. The program also contributed to cultural exchange between participating students from all participating Arab countries.

Scientific and practical experience: We conducted numerous field visits to solar power plants in the Sultanate of Oman. During these visits, we observed the components of the solar system and learned about its operation. We gained practical experience by working with electrical equipment on a tangible basis. The training program also included several theoretical and practical lectures on campus to provide a comprehensive understanding of the solar system.

Other activities: The program included numerous trips to tourist and recreational sites in the sisterly Sultanate of Oman, most notably the Oman Across the Ages Museum, where we saw all the civilizations of the Sultanate of Oman throughout the ages. We also visited the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque in the capital, Muscat, and took many souvenir photos there.
