Field Training
Nature of participation:
Participated in summer training at Erbil Technical University in Kurdistan/Iraq, which also included scientific, tourism, entertainment, and cultural aspects. We visited the main campus of Erbil Technical University, visited several colleges, learned about the university majors, and interacted with a select group of distinguished students and professors at Erbil Technical University.
Scientific and practical experience:
Erbil Polytechnic University, with its distinguished reputation and highly qualified teaching staff, provides an ideal learning environment that helps develop knowledge and skills. Numerous advanced lectures were delivered to develop academic skills, and we learned about various scientific and practical fields. We visited the university laboratories, which are equipped with modern technology and advanced equipment. We also visited a company specializing in data storage, which incorporates the latest technologies, and learned about its staff. We interacted with many of the university distinguished students and witnessed the warm treatment and hospitality of the Student Union.
Other activities:
I had the opportunity to learn about the unique Kurdish culture and the history of the Kurdish peoples struggle, which reflects the steadfastness and determination of its people throughout the ages, and to learn about the distinctive customs and traditions. We visited many beautiful areas such as Shaqlawa, Dohuk, and Barzan, and enjoyed the picturesque nature. We went on a tour of the Erbil Citadel, which is considered one of the oldest inhabited sites in the world, dating back thousands of years and distinguished by its unique architecture. We visited the Palestinian Consulate, met with the advisor to the Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region, and made many friendships with students from different Arab countries. Finally, all thanks and gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this training.
