Nature of participation: Completing a six-month semester in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Parma, with a commitment to attend lectures and take exams to achieve a specific number of required credit hours.

Scientific and practical experience: We gained in-depth knowledge of the Internet of Things, information security, and embedded systems through lecture attendance and exams. We also learned about teaching methods in Italy and built professional relationships with several prominent professors there.

Other activities: We learned basic Italian and explored aspects of Italian culinary arts. We also learned about the diverse Italian culture and visited various Italian cities, which gave us the opportunity to experience various aspects of the local culture.
