Nature of participation:
As part of the field training for the Computer Engineering major, we had the opportunity to learn about their educational system by participating in a variety of activities at the College of Science and Technology and the Technical College. We also visited several technology departments and gained in-depth knowledge by learning from the technical expertise available in the job market. In addition to the unique experience of learning about the country's cultural, historical, and civilizational nature, especially Kurdish culture, we visited historical sites, as well as numerous recreational and tourist activities.
Scientific and practical experience:
The training period included an exchange of scientific and theoretical expertise through lectures and workshops in the laboratories and halls of the Technical College and the Technological College. We also attended a Cisco networking workshop and learned about the advanced courses it offers. In addition, we attended seminars presented by Kurdish students in collaboration with Huawei. We also visited technology departments to understand the nature of the job market and exchange technical expertise, such as the General Technology Department, the largest technology department in Erbil and responsible for maintaining the country's data. This experience provided us with a deep understanding of how to apply theoretical knowledge in a real-world work environment, the nature of interaction with technical challenges, and enhanced our knowledge of the future job market, enhancing our professional preparedness.
