Field Training
Nature of participation:
A three-week training period, which included theoretical aspects through attendance at interior design courses, and practical aspects through events and internal university workshops, such as the Sculpture Workshop and the Fine Arts Forum, with the participation of international artists.
Scientific and practical experience:
This included learning the basics of engraving and printing, interior design techniques, and some drawing techniques in university ceremonies. This included attending a meeting with architect Amani Tabaza entitled "The Journey Beyond Architecture: Between Architecture, Spatial Planning, and Interior Design" This included a visit to the Maintenance Department and the university's carpentry shop, and learning about the design and implementation of furniture used on campus.
Other activities:
The university organized two visits for all exchange students from different countries, one to one of the world's most important tourist destinations, Petra, and the other to the city of Jerash. The two trips contributed to forming friendships and interacting with fellow exchange students from Egypt, Libya, Oman, and Kurdistan, and learning about their lifestyles and cultures.
