Field Training

Nature of participation:

The training period was one month in the Department of Electrical and Communications Engineering. I had the opportunity to learn about the latest technologies and practices in this field.

Scientific and practical experience:

I was trained in the use of ANSYS software, which is used in the design and analysis of antennas and electromagnetic waves. I learned how to prepare simulations and analyze results to design antennas with specific specifications. In addition, I had the opportunity to work on practical projects related to antenna and filter design, which contributed to enhancing my applied skills in this field. I attended a specialized workshop that addressed topics related to design and analysis techniques in the field of antennas and filters.

Other activities:

The internship greatly contributed to developing my skills in using software programs such as ANSYS and HFSS, and understanding the practical applications of electrical engineering, including antenna and filter design and waveguide studies. The internship provided me with the opportunity to interact with professors and students from the University of Jordan, which helped expand my professional network. We enjoyed recreational trips to explore Jordan's famous landmarks. We visited Petra, the famous historical city. We also visited Jerash, known for its Roman ruins, and toured several other governorates in Jordan, providing us with a wonderful opportunity to experience the beauty and culture of this country and exchange ideas with colleagues from different countries.
