Field Training

Nature of participation: One-month training at the University of Jordan in the laboratories and studios of the Faculty of Design and Applied Arts, in addition to practical training through various workshops at the university.

Scientific and practical experience: I gained academic experience through almost daily lectures at the College of Arts and the Department of Conservation and Carpentry, taught by specialized professors and designers. I also met international artists at the Fine Arts Forum, specializing in sculpture and photography, and benefited from their expertise and knowledge of their culture. I also benefited from meetings with architects and designers in the job market. Practical experience included training in several locations, including the Department of Conservation and Carpentry at the University of Jordan, interior design workshops, and practical lectures at the College of Arts, including sculpture, artistic dissection, engraving, printing, and more.

Other activities: The cultural aspect played a significant role in this trip. I was exposed to many cultures from Arab and non-Arab countries, in addition to visiting numerous tourist sites, such as the ancient city of Petra and the ancient city of Jerash, among others.
