Field Training
Nature of participation:
Practical and theoretical, in addition to tourism, entertainment, and archaeological aspects. We received training at the Colleges of Science and Engineering, and also visited various colleges, as well as one of the largest telecommunications companies in the region.
Scientific and practical experience:
The training period at the University of Salahaddin was divided into two parts. The first part was about web page development, spanning two intensive weeks and presented by the best lecturers in this field and in the job market. The second part included networking, which included the theoretical and practical aspects of building and managing networks. We also established networks between devices and transferred data between them. We also visited Korek, one of the largest telecommunications companies in the region.
Other activities:
The training period included visiting many recreational and archaeological sites in and outside Erbil, including a visit to the ancient Erbil Citadel, the Syriac Museum, and new modern areas where we learned about the history of Kurdistan, its people, and their kindness, in addition to recreational trips outside Erbil to the cities of Shaqlawa, Bekhal, Gali Ali Beg, Sakran, Kudo, and Halgurd, arriving at the Haji Omran International Border Crossing. During these trips, we learned about the northern regions, their history, and their charming and beautiful mountainous nature.
