Field Training

Nature of participation:

The training included both practical and theoretical aspects and lasted for three weeks. The training program included intensive activities during the weekdays, giving us the opportunity to acquire new skills and apply what we learned in a practical setting. In addition, some days were allocated for recreation and entertainment, which helped us relax and strengthen relationships among the training participants. This was a comprehensive experience, combining professional development with enjoyable pastimes, making it a fruitful and comprehensive experience.

Scientific and practical experience:

The training period included a comprehensive experience that combined theoretical and practical aspects, through a series of in-depth lectures and practical applications in the laboratories of the College of Agriculture. The program also included field visits to the Molasses and Rashi factories and the General Company for Grain Industry and Trade, where we were introduced to the latest equipment and technologies, gained a detailed understanding of their working principles, and applied them in practice. In the university laboratories, we learned how to use new equipment, which contributed to enhancing our technical skills. This experience provided us with a deeper understanding of how to transform theoretical knowledge into practical applications in a real-world work environment.

Other activities:

This experience was truly exceptional and unforgettable, as we had the opportunity to visit a number of prominent recreational and cultural sites, such as the city of Hit, Mutanabbi Street, the Martyr's Monument, and the Iraqi Museum in Baghdad. These visits were not only for entertainment; they also provided us with an in-depth insight into the rich history and culture of Iraq, adding an educational and cultural dimension to our experience. Furthermore, it was a pleasure meeting people of different nationalities among the expatriates, which gave us the opportunity to make new friends and learn about the diversity of their cultures. This experience was not just a trip, but a bridge for cultural communication and broadening our social horizons, making it a unique experience in every way.
