Field Training

Nature of participation:

During our training at Balqa' University, we actively participated in developing our media skills by working in the university's specialized laboratories. Our participation included field visits to a number of prominent media institutions in Jordan, such as the Media City, radio broadcasting organizations, and Arab News, which gave us the opportunity to understand how these institutions operate on the ground. We also received specialized lectures on various topics such as traditional media, artificial intelligence, and design, which expanded our technical knowledge and enriched our personal experience through exposure to new and diverse cultures and experiences.

Scientific and practical experience:

During our training at Balqa' University, we gained extensive academic experience in the field of media, along with new skills in critical analysis and creative thinking. On a practical level, we were able to learn how to manage and organize successful media campaigns through the workshops we attended. These workshops included developing effective communication strategies and crafting media messages that suit different target audiences. Field visits to major media organizations in Jordan, such as the Media City and broadcasting companies, also gave us the opportunity to closely observe media operations and interact with professionals in the field, deepening our understanding of how to manage media content in professional settings. Furthermore, the lectures we attended enabled us to gain advanced scientific knowledge about traditional media, artificial intelligence, and design, which contributed to developing our capabilities for innovation and strategic thinking in various media fields.

Other activities:

We participated in numerous cultural and recreational activities that added another dimension to our experience. Among these activities, we visited the city of Jerash, where we enjoyed exploring the famous Roman ruins and learning about this ancient city's history. We also visited Ajloun Governorate, where we had the opportunity to ride the cable car and explore the historic Ajloun Castle, which overlooks stunning natural scenery. Additionally, we learned about Jordanian culture through our interactions with local communities in these areas, which contributed to deepening our understanding of Jordan's rich and diverse heritage. These activities were part of an integrated experience that combined academic learning with cultural exploration, enriching our training experience and making it more comprehensive.
