Mechanical Engineering
Kurdistan/Iraq
University of Sulaymaniyah
Field Training
Nature of participation:
This participation allowed us to learn about Kurdish civilization up close. Our journey diversified, encompassing tourism, entertainment, and cultural knowledge, in addition to scientific and practical aspects.
Scientific and practical experience:
Field visits to companies, factories, and laboratories enriched our knowledge and enabled us to acquire new techniques in mechanical engineering. These experiences helped refine our personalities, broaden our horizons, and prepare us to enter the job market with efficiency and distinction.
Other activities:
Our trip wasn't limited to science. Among the most prominent places we visited was the Grand Bazaar in Sulaymaniyah. We also had the wonderful opportunity to experience hot air ballooning, which allowed us to see the stunning landscape from a great height. We visited Lake Dukan, one of the most beautiful natural destinations in the Kurdistan Region, and visited the Grand Mosque and many of the city's landmarks. This trip was a rich opportunity to exchange knowledge and different customs with our colleagues from sister countries such as Egypt and Oman, which further enriched our cultural experience and diversified our experiences.
