Nature of participation:

The nature of my participation included attending academic lectures at Sohar University within my specialization, in addition to a practical training period in a local company, which provided me with a comprehensive experience that combined theoretical and practical aspects in a culturally and academically different environment.

Scientific and practical experience:

During my participation in the program, I gained a rich set of knowledge and skills. I began attending lectures and training workshops at Sohar University, covering modern topics such as an introduction to artificial intelligence, how to market and develop oneself, as well as how to prepare a professional CV and build an effective LinkedIn profile. These sessions helped me enhance my professional awareness and more clearly define my career path.

Later, I underwent a week-long practical training at Al Badi Investment Company, which gave me the opportunity to learn about the work environment from within and participate in technical activities such as disassembling and assembling computers, which developed my practical skills in technology and technical support.

The program also included field visits to companies and industrial and educational institutions, such as VALE Iron Pelletizing Company, the Aviation Academy, and a power transformer factory. We learned about production lines, the challenges of industrial work, and the impact of technology on these sectors. These visits gave me a broader perspective on the job market, its opportunities, and the applications of my specialization in various fields.

We also visited specialized centers such as the Liwa Science and Innovation Center and the Youth Center in Muscat, where we learned about innovation and entrepreneurship initiatives, which enhanced my understanding of the importance of creativity and entrepreneurial thinking in developing my academic and professional path.

Other activities:

During the program, I participated in numerous cultural and social activities that enriched my personal experience. We visited numerous tourist sites within the Sultanate of Oman, including the capital, Muscat, where we explored its cultural landmarks and visited several mosques and museums, deepening my understanding of Omani culture and history.

I also had the unique opportunity to present the program's closing ceremony, which gave me a significant boost of self-confidence and developed my presentation and speaking skills in front of diverse audiences.

In addition, I had a rich social experience, forming strong friendships with students from various Arab countries and learning from their experiences and cultures. This was a significant part of the program's value for me.
