Field Training

Nature of participation:

I participated in a one-month student exchange program at Fayoum University, Egypt, which gave me the opportunity to expand my practical and theoretical knowledge in the field of architecture, in addition to gaining new field and academic experiences.

Scientific and practical experience:

The program included a number of weekly field visits to projects, commercial centers, and historical landmarks, such as Centrada Plaza, in addition to attending various scientific events and international exhibitions. I also had a unique experience receiving international delegations and learning about different architectural styles and local design techniques, along with enriching discussions with professors and specialists in the field of architecture.

Other activities:

The program also included tourist, cultural, and recreational activities, including visits to archaeological and tourist sites such as Wadi Rayan, Tunis Village, and Al-Jazira, in addition to the pyramids, the Grand Egyptian Museum, and the city of Alexandria. These trips contributed to enhancing knowledge of the rich Egyptian civilization, linking it to academic and professional fields.
