Field Training

Nature of participation:

The nature of the participation was in specialized topics in electrical engineering, as the training was on campus in both the laboratories of the Electrical Engineering Department, in addition to the Construction and Projects Department, and visits to facilities under construction on campus.

Scientific and practical experience:

The student exchange program gave me the opportunity to learn about electrical devices and tools in the host university's laboratories. We trained in the electrical circuits lab, the control lab, and the electrical machines lab. We then went to the construction and projects department and learned how to calculate the tools and materials needed for any project and how to plan projects successfully. We also visited facilities under construction and linked theoretical and practical information on the ground.

Other activities:

The exchange was not limited to the educational aspect only, but also to the cultural and entertainment aspect, as we got to know some of the customs and traditions of the Iraqi people and exchanged cultures between the two peoples, in addition to visiting ancient places such as Al-Mutanabbi Street in Baghdad and the city of Fallujah.
