Nature of participation:

As part of the student exchange program, I participated in a unique academic experience at Misr University for Science and Technology - 6th of October City. As a computer science student, I had the opportunity to represent my university and participate in an intensive program that combined academic and practical aspects. The program was regular, five days a week, and included numerous lectures and practical activities that enhanced my academic skills.

Scientific and practical experience:

The program was distinguished by its focus on practical aspects, as we covered various tracks in the field of computing on a weekly basis, including:

Networks.

Artificial Intelligence.

Embedded Systems.

Cybersecurity.

This diversity contributed to enriching my knowledge and linking theory with practical application.

Other activities:

In addition to the intensive academic and practical activities, the student exchange program at Misr University for Science and Technology had a distinct cultural and touristic dimension. Every Thursday, we were given the opportunity to visit a group of Egypt's most prominent historical and cultural landmarks. These visits were not merely sightseeing tours; they were a journey through time, discovering the ancient Egyptian civilization and its cultural diversity.

- Al-Hakim Citadel and Mosque and Al-Azhar Al-Sharif - Cairo

Our journey began in the heart of Old Cairo, where history tells its story within the walls of the Al-Hakim Citadel and Mosque, and with the breath of faith in the spaciousness of Al-Azhar Al-Sharif, a beacon of knowledge and religion for centuries.

The Pyramids - Giza

The majesty of standing before one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Egyptian pyramids, cannot be described. They embody the engineering genius and ingenuity of the Pharaonic civilization. An awe-inspiring experience that immerses you in a history spanning thousands of years.

Alexandria – Qaitbay Citadel and the Central Library

On the Mediterranean coast, the majesty of the Qaitbay Citadel, a magnificent defensive fortress that has stood the test of time, was before us. The Central Library of Alexandria transported us to a world of knowledge, where ancient and modern books and manuscripts are housed in a unique cultural edifice.

Saladin Citadel – Cairo

The final stop was the Citadel of Saladin, a towering cultural landmark that houses the Mosque of Muhammad Ali Pasha with its magnificent minarets and distinctive dome, along with the Egyptian Military Museum, which tells chapters from the history of the Egyptian army through its rare military exhibits.
