Specialized course
Nature of participation:
I participated in the Erasmus+ project “Developing Early Childhood Curricula Using Information and Communication Technology (ICT)” at the University of Padua, Italy, for two weeks.
Scientific and practical experience:
The participation included theoretical and practical training on integrating technology into early childhood education, such as using learning apps (Kahoot, Duolingo, Khan Academy, Canva) to design interactive lessons and develop children's creativity and critical thinking skills.
I also gained experience in personalized learning, inclusivity, and digital ethics, as well as how to employ artificial intelligence to support education and address misinformation. I gained experience analyzing the theoretical framework for integrating technology into education, learning about digital ethics, and ways to integrate students with special needs.
Other activities:
As part of the training activities, we visited the Palazzo Bo, part of the Faculty of Law at the University of Padua, one of the oldest university buildings in Europe, and learned about its rich academic history. We also visited the city's Museum of Ancient Education, which showcased the evolution of teaching methods and school tools over the ages, adding a rich cultural and historical dimension to the experience.
