Field Training

Nature of participation: The training lasted three weeks, a weekday training program that included Thursday and Friday trips to explore Egypt landmarks and culture.

Scientific and practical experience: The training was at the Faculty of Science, and we visited the university hospital, the oncology hospital, and an aromatic herbs factory. We were introduced to new equipment and learned about its operation.

Other activities: We met different nationalities among the expatriates, such as Iraq, Jordan, Yemen, and Oman. We made friends, learned about their culture, and visited tourist sites such as the Pyramids in Giza, the Qaitbay Citadel in Alexandria, the Egyptian Museum in Cairo, Wadi El Rayan, and Lake Qarun in Fayoum.
