Research Visit
Nature of participation:
Engaging in scientific research with master's and doctoral students for two months, as part of the Life Summer Research Program.
Scientific and practical experience:
Conducting peer-reviewed scientific research, training in developing applied projects and prototypes for innovative projects, and creating an interactive space to learn about scientific and cognitive approaches to engineering research and studies within international standards. This was achieved by participating in graduate studies laboratories there, and by providing the opportunity to conduct applied research within the field of electrical engineering. During the two-month training period, we learned about the nature of research work in the field of constant voltage motors, their speed control, and their uses in miniature aircraft projects. For use in games, delivery services, photography, and many other areas, in addition to taking advantage of all the facilities provided to any student residing at the University of North Carolina, such as use of laboratories and the library, borrowing books, and using the library's electronic resources. This experience was a golden opportunity to develop a culture of research, perseverance, a love of science, and a constant pursuit of knowledge. It also included exploiting all the simple resources available in the environment and striving and persevering to achieve goals.
Other activities:
Creating and building academic relationships between us, as scholarship students, and our academic supervisors at North Carolina State University, increasing our chances of obtaining graduate scholarships at the university, and strengthening the culture of scientific research and its foundations to position ourselves on the top rung of graduate studies. This experience is more than wonderful for getting to know the diverse cultures of graduate students in the laboratories, in addition to participating in their recreational and scientific activities within and outside the university.
