Erbil Technical University
Field Training
Nature of participation: Automotive Engineering Training at Erbil Technical University within Kurdistan.
Scientific and practical experience: We trained at both the College of Engineering and the College of Technology at Erbil Technical University and learned about their respective laboratories, such as the Fluidics Laboratory, the Solar Energy Laboratory, the Automotive Electrical Laboratory, and the Vehicle Systems Laboratory. We also attended lectures on topics related to car engines, how to diagnose and maintain engines, and learned about the cooling system in cars and the development of solar panels by maintaining the temperature of the panels.
Other activities: We visited the historical landmarks of Kurdistan such as the Erbil Citadel, which shows the ancient history of Kurdistan, and the minaret in Kurdistan City. Among the beautiful visits were the Erbil Zoo, and our trip to Duhok Governorate to camp in the Solaf Resort in the village of Amadiya, and we saw those rivers shining under the sun and the cool breeze that flows between those dense forests rooted in the towering mountains of Kurdistan, and our trip to the Franso Hariri Stadium and the modern malls.
