Field Training

Nature of participation: Field training within the university for a month, consisting of regular attendance in computer labs, from Sunday to Wednesday, with a Saturday field trip coordinated with the university.

Scientific and practical experience: We first learned about the fully equipped laboratories of the Electrical Engineering, Computer, and Communications Department. We then learned Arduino programming and created small projects using it, eventually creating a car-shaped robot. We also explored various computer networking applications.

Other activities: We visited many historical sites in Jordan and learned about Jordanian culture. The first trip was to Jerash and Ajloun Castle. The second trip was to the Royal Automobile Museum, Madaba, the city of mosaics, and a horse-riding club, which was the most wonderful and enjoyable activity. The third trip was to Petra, the Rose City. This unforgettable experience is all thanks to God, then to my great university, and especially to Dr. Moatamad Al-Khatib who made every effort to give us this opportunity. "Travel and you will find a replacement for those you part from. Be patient, for the sweetness of life lies in patience. I have seen that standing water spoils it. If it flows, it is good, but if it does not run, it is not good".
