Nature of participation: The on-the-job training will last for ten weeks, Sunday to Thursday, from 8 am to 3 pm, under the supervision of a person.
Scientific and practical experience: Gaining extensive academic experience and knowledge. A plan was developed by my supervisor at the company to visit all departments of the company, learn about their work, and obtain sufficient information that will help me in the future with my studies and work. I also gained practical experience, as I went on business trips to see the communication towers and how they work, as well as to the shelters. I also learned about the types of towers, how to determine the type of transmission required, and how to repair faults in signal transmission. I attended and participated in numerous meetings, which led to gaining experience in public speaking and in the English language.
Other activities: Forming social relationships and friendships with different Arab and Western cultures of different nationalities, also making many trips to the museums of the Sultanate of Oman and going to many of its cities such as Nizwa, Muscat, Sur, Al Batinah, Al Dakhiliyah and many other cities and seeing the different natural landscapes and living many experiences with them, also living in an Omani house for a week and getting to know their food, customs and traditions and visiting more than one Omani university and watching their celebrations, and finally participating in the cultural day celebration and learning about Palestine, its heritage and culture, as well as a little about its suffering and occupation.
