University of Jordan
Field Training
Nature of participation:
The training consisted of a daily schedule of practical lectures in the studio and laboratories of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Jordan. We were received by the deanship of the faculty and assigned to the necessary laboratories.
Scientific and practical experience:
We applied all the theoretical knowledge I had learned in the soil, flower arrangement and picking laboratories, the garden studio, and the tissue culture and greenhouse laboratories of the Faculty of Agriculture, which provided me with a wealth of practical experience.
Other activities:
I really enjoyed learning about other cultures that were with me in this training, including Egyptian, Omani and Jordanian. We also made field visits to the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Jordan in the Jordan Valley, Muwaqqar, Madaba, Jerash, Ajloun and the rose-red city of Petra, to learn about Jordanian culture and civilization, which had a lasting impact on us.
