Field Training

Nature of participation: I attended lectures and labs at the university. I also received a few days of training in traditional propagation of some ornamental plants, such as olives and spider plants, and a few days in tissue culture propagation of olives.

Scientific and practical experience: I gained extensive experience in both the scientific and practical aspects of agricultural propagation, including traditional and technological plant propagation. I have become capable of flower arrangement through a laboratory implemented at the university in collaboration with experienced flower shops.

Other activities: I went to the Jordan Valley for a scientific visit, where agriculture is very well done and the returns are well utilized. I also visited historical sites for recreational visits, such as Petra, Ajloun Castle, the ruins of Jerash, Mount Nebo, and many historical churches. In addition to activities with students within the university itself, we toured the library of the prestigious University of Jordan, which was absolutely amazing.
